Catch › What can I cook?
What could I make with what I have been buying?
Catch looks at what you have actually been buying and suggests two or three dishes. Whatever is missing goes on your shopping list in a tap.
How dish ideas work
Ask Catch what you could make. It looks at the foods on your pantry shelf, suggests two or three dishes, and shows what you have and what is missing. Add the missing ingredients to your shopping list in one tap, and they arrive sorted by aisle like any other list.
What it can and cannot see
Catch only knows what you have bought through the app. It cannot see inside your fridge, and it says so. Treat the ideas as a starting point, not a plan for tonight.
What is sent to make a suggestion
To suggest dishes, the names of the foods on your pantry shelf are sent to Anthropic (Claude), because that is the part that does the thinking. Nothing else from your phone goes with them, and there is no account. The feature is off until you switch it on, and you can switch it off again at any time. The privacy policy has the full detail.
Take suggestions with care
A suggested dish can be wrong or make no sense with what you have. It is not a tested recipe, it has not been costed, and it has not been checked for allergens. If you have an allergy or an intolerance, check every ingredient yourself.
Where it fits
Dish ideas are the last step of a loop: scan a list, grade what you pick up, stock the pantry, then cook from it.
Catch is in open beta on iPhone through TestFlight, and there is a closed test on Android for anyone who asks.
